Erasmus Italy:
It was an amazing week.
We learned a lot about the culture, we went to beautiful places, we met many different people from other countries and we had lot of fun. That week was an unforgettable experience.
When we arrived to Italy, we met our italians families who were waiting us in the bus station and then we went to have dinner in a restaurant.
Every day, in the morning we went to their high school to do our presentation and then we played some games.
We visited some cities apart from Giulannova like Assisi or Atri.
Last day we went to have dinner all together and then we had party, we cried a lot this day.
Erasmus Holland:
In our second trip we went to Maastricht, a precious and calmed village which we all enjoyed a lot.
From the moment we knew we were going to the Netherlands we were really excited about the idea of interacting with Dutch people, especially with the ones whose house we were going to stay in. However, we finally had to spentd our stay in a hostel. Firstly, we all were quite disappointed, but then we realized that it would be a quite funny experience that we did not have the chance to live before.
When we first arrived, students from all the involved countries were already mixed, and we had some difficulties interacting with the other ones. But it was just the first day. Everyone, including the teacher who was always in the hostel with us, was very easy going.
Last but not least, although the hostel was not a 'five star hotel' we had a great time and we forgot about it, as the point of Erasmus is learning about other places and above all, having the chance to know and share amazing experiencies with people from several European countries.
We really enjoyed the city of Maastricht because even though it is a big city we felt it was very peaceful and so we could walk around really comfortably although we didn't knew the city at all.
There, we went to see a lot of differents places and our favorite place was the principal square. This square is very beautiful and very quiet because the colours are very nice and very originals, and all buildings, churches and houses are made with colored bricks. In the square there is a kind of pedestal where we went to meet other people from the Erasmus too. In the city almost everyone was cycling everywhere. There were bikes on all streets and they didn't tie the bikes to anywhere. In general we had a great time and it has been the the best experience of our life. And we have also met many people and made many friends and we also knew many new places and cultures.
The activities were really cool. The one we enjoyed the most was when we went to a handmade cave system which was really interesting. We have never seen something similar before. These caves were made for the Second War World to protect the people of Maastricht. These caves were completly accomodated with basics thing such as bathrooms, a bakery, a church and there, where even some ads painted by hand on the walls. These caves were made to live during a bombing but they never needed to use them.
One day we went to a very strange museum, the museum was strange because the works that had reflected characters were made with different materials, there was a room that we were afraid of because there were many faces with very strange features. There was another room in which there were many people created by them who together formed a story.
Another day we went to the Parliament of Maastricht where the Maastricht treaty was made, there the guide told us that it was one of the first parliaments and about the history of Maastricht that we found very interesting. There we took many cool photos because apart from being a beautiful place it had the river behind the Parliament.
We also went to the theater of Maastricht, a theater quite modern and cozy, but there we did not see a theater scene. We saw the facilities, the backstage and how they prepared everything for the performances.
Erasmus Hungary.
Our week in Budapest was amazing, we will never forget it.
We did a lot of interesting things such as the sightseeing of the city in groups, the activities in the school and many more things.
Everything was very well organized and the teachers and students were very nice with us.
We just have some difficulties to adapt ourselves in a week, we have different styles of life and the food, the timetable and these types of things are not the same as in our country and it could be difficult for us to adapt to these changes; however this could be a positive aspect too because you can learn other styles of life and this can help you to grow up in a mental way.
It has a lot of positive aspects like the way how we can learn about other cultures, Erasmus helps us to be more sociable and simpathetic, we have met amazing people and we did a lot of unique things.
Thanks for everything!!!
